The term tech house is a category of electronic dance music that combined musical aspects of techno, such as the “basslines” &  “steely percs (percussion)” with the harmonies and grooves of progressive house. The early tech house had a much clean and minimal style and was more Techno like.

Today Tech House can be a real mix of different styles , as long its have his tech percussion and baselines  it will count as tech house.
